WHAT WE DO

Ozanam House offers programmes and courses that develop skills and provide support in a wide variety of areas. We offer individuals, young and old, the opportunity to build the confidence and self-belief to develop and grow, so that they and their families can have a better future.

We have over 500 members using the services in the centre each week, ranging in ages from two to their nineties!

HOW WE DO IT

All of this is made possible by our corporate sponsors, our many active volunteer members, SVP staff, Community Employment staff, Students on placement & our Interns who work diligently in the centre each week, sharing their skills, time & passions for the benefit of others!

Our volunteers do everything from teaching classes to facilitating activities and acting as mentors in the youth groups.

The Ozanam House Experience

"The sense of community makes you feel a part of something very special."
"Ozanam House is so welcoming & as a volunteer I'm made to feel like I'm part of a family... it's inherently local, everyone knows everyone & no-one is made to feel left out."

Ozanam Come Dancing is BACK!!

The big annual fundraiser is a major source of financial support for Ozanam House, a community resource centre run by SVP. This year, our couples from Ozanam House and our partner companies including McCann FitzGerald, Symantec and Diageo are already in training for the event on Friday 4th March in Liberty Hall, Dublin 1.

The event 'Ozanam Come Dancing' will raise much needed funds for the Youth Summer Projects, offering 280 young people from our community a memorable experience in a safe, nurturing, yet fun filled environment.

The live show will take place on Friday, 4 March 2015 at Liberty Hall and the host for the evening will be television presenter and fashion designer, Brendan Courtney.

If you would like to register your interest in sponsoring this event or would like more details please send an email to admin@ozanamhouse.ie
